  • Finally they reached us. Initially Sue and I stayed behind the wire so Jean Louise could greet them and check them head to toe as was his normal routine.

  • OH yeah...and then there was the view of the Mountains. BIG BIG BIG WOW!!

  • After all the horses were checked and given salt licks and loved on by all of us, we then sat in the shade for some lunch. Big chunks of bread, cheese, meat and biscuits, water or watered down wine. Most perfect picnic EVER!!
  • When it was time to head home, we were taking four horses back with us.

  • No room for error on these narrow rocky paths with steep drop offs.
  • The Merens breed is known for its sturdy strong legs and sure footedness.
  • Once over the difficult part, we stopped for a break to sit and relax and enjoy the view.
  • We were'nt the only ones that enjoyed the view!
  • The horses stayed close together and continually turned to check on me...or so it seemed!
